While I think of myself as a landscape photographer, I find that more and more I am shooting other images. I seem to have a real fascination with birds. Perhaps I just miss the feeling of flying that I had in my Air Force days. Animals of all sorts are big in my collection. When you shoot a landscape there are just so many shots you can take and then you must wait hours for the light to change. With animals, the image is always changing. You really can not shoot fast enough to catch all the action. You can only hope you get that one great shot.
Sometimes when I am shooting landscape I go from the Macro view of the world, to the Micro view. There is as much imagery in the small as there is in the large.
And, lastly, I am shooting more of the interaction between man and the environment. What we do to the world we live in and to our fellow man.
Here are some recent seascapes.

I thought that I usually prefer water shots, but I'm loving those sandy shots! Especially the impressions in the sand... and the little rocks remind me of a 3 year old collector that I know ;)
