Three more for the Road

I think that this will be the last of my road photos for a while, but I wanted to include some older images that I feel have a common theme. All are from a trip through Washington State, but that is not what I mean by theme.









In all three photos, man made objects intrude upon nature, but it is the man made objects that show us the undulations and variations in the natural terrain and give these photos their interest.

In case you think that that road is some Photoshop gimmick, a Google map showing it should load in the space below. The road in the photographs is the white line to the east, or right of US 97. It is called Mary Hill Loops Road. On the map it looks like someone was trying to spell zoom.
