Not all of my “sculptural” photos are of traditional statuary, although much of it is. Here is an example of taxidermy. I photographed the lion below at a display in a Cabela’s store in Nevada.


The first picture is my original shot.




In the second picture I have slightly blurred some of the image while keeping the eyes, nose and mouth in focus, to give the photo a more natural, action feel.




The third picture is a digitally “enhanced” version, using Photo Shop. It is viewed best if you click on it and look at the enlarged image.
